Getting Started

Lets go through the steps of getting your first Ancient Society city, and staking your first building NFT.

Step 1 - Go to the Ancient Society DAPP

Head to the game site and click 'PLAY':

This can be done using MetaMask Browser, or Google Chrome.

Step 2 - Choose your preferred wallet

Choose your preferred wallet for connection to the game.

Step 3 - Sign in with your preferred wallet

Sign the signature request entitled "Welcome to Ancient Society 992978830"

There is no transaction at this point, just a signature.

Sep 4 - First moment in the game

You now have your first city, tied to your wallet. If you sign in again using this wallet, this same city will be displayed. Your screen will look like below the first time you log in (although your balances will be zero - SORRY!)

Step 5 - Stake your first building - Choose spot in your City

You are now ready to stake your first building. Click on one of the empty building spaces to stake a building.

If you click a space in-land - any building OTHER THAN a Fishing Hut can be staked. If you click on a space by the water ONLY a Fishing Hut can be staked.

Step 6 - Stake your first building on chain

Click the building you wish to stake. For example we are staking the Town Hall. Click on this building and you sign the following transaction:

When you click 'Confirm' a loading screen will show and it will change when complete:

You now repeat this step, signing a second transaction and your building will appear staked.

You will receive confirmation and your building will appear on your land

Congratulations on staking your first building, you are now earning $ANCIEN!
